  • Free access to water, shelter & forage
  • No antibiotics from birth, including prophylactic/sub-therapeutic
  • No growth hormones
  • 100% vegetarian diet to exclude bakery by-products
  • Diet of 100% forage and pasture; no grain ever
  • At least 50% British-influenced breeds
  • No dairy influence
  • No bulls
  • No horns
  • Less than 28 months of age
  • Target carcass hanging weight of 550-700 lbs.
  • Delivered to designated aggregation site or slaughter plant in good health, as determined by both plant employees and the USDA inspector
  • Regularly updated data entry in web-based herd management software
  • Radio frequency identification tags applied to all animals and registered online
  • Online calf registration at time of birth
  • Signed affidavit
